Welcome to the Beacon Hill Station

This past year Seattle began operation of light rail from downtown to the airport. It\'s been reasonably successful and has plans for expansion to other parts of the city.

Today I decided it\'d be fun to capture a train as it comes and leaves a station and I thought the Beacon Hill Station would be a nice showcase because it\'s the only new underground station that they built as part of this project. Plus it\'s actually got some cool art work.

Being a Sunday, it was not very busy so I didn\'t get to capture as many people coming and going as I would have liked, but the nice smooth lights of the train coming and going was a nice touch.
