The Moulton Barn and Tetons

This is the Moulton Barn at Grand Teton National Park. Prior to the park being formed this area was free game to anyone that wanted to settle and build. Some grew concerned and wanted this area protected from future development, so they purchased up the remaining land and over the years acquired additional plots of land. This barn (and accompanying house -- out of frame) are what is left of one such settlement prior to the formation of the park.
