The Tetons from Willow FlatsAugust 30, 2006 | Grand Teton National Park Isn't this area remarkable? Early in the 20th century, a few other people did as well and purchased up all of the land because they didn't want the area to become over developed. This land trust became the foundation for the Grand Teton National Park. In this shot I wanted to show the size of this place with it's great open spaces, it's beautiful mountains and the valleys in between. The foreground is actually Willow Flats and the lake in the far distance is Jackson Lake. This shot was in fact taken from the Jack Lake Lodge overlook. | | | | MetadataCamera Nikon D70 Lens 12-24mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor Shutter and f/stop 1/5 sec. @ f/20.0
