Grand Tetons

The Tetons are certainly an amazing place. I took this just a short distance from where we were staying, the Jackson Lake Lodge, in fact in the far distance that body of water is Jackson Lake. Just beyond this brush is Willow Flats - a swampy, marsh-like area on the shores of Jackson Lake. On this same evening just a few hours later, we saw a moose.

I tell the story of the moose for an odd reason -- Stephen Colbert, the popular star of Comedy Central, was there with his family as well and nearly fell over himself when he saw the moose.
