Seattle From Lake UnionMarch 26, 2007 | Seattle This is Seattle as seen early in the morning from Gas Works Park. The body of water is Lake Union - a small lake that is connected to Puget Sound and the Pacific Ocean through the Ballard Locks. This area is a great place to people watch early in the morning with tons of rowers and other boats passing in the morning. There is an amazing transformation in the morning while watching the sunrise. For photographers, it's too fast and you can never shoot all that you want to - it's always changing. I usually miss the sunrise when I'm in my daily routine - but seeing it every once in a while really opens my eyes to the cycle of time and nature. | | | | MetadataCamera Nikon D200 Lens 17-55mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor Shutter and f/stop 13 sec. @ f/18.0
