Seattle From Lake Union

A clear night makes for a clear sunrise - sometimes that's hard to come by in Seattle where the clouds commonly roll in during the night and burn off during the day.

This shot was taken from Gas Works park on an early Monday morning in March. It was a pretty calm morning on the water with very little wind, just row boats gliding by periodically creating a gentle ripple.
