Seattle From AlkiMarch 18, 2007 | Seattle Taken early in the morning, before sunrise, along Alki Point which looks back across Elliot Bay towards downtown Seattle. This area is lined with parks, restaurants and harbor businesses. Early in the morning it is pretty desolate and all you can hear are seagulls, sometimes seals, and the waves from ferry boats along the rocks. If you continue farther along on Alki Point, you round the tip towards Puget Sound and the rocky shoreline becomes sandy beaches - a huge summertime hang out. I awoke early to catch the sunrise and the city in the foreground, but it was rather foggy and eventually started to rain - I guess that's Seattle. | | | | MetadataCamera Nikon D200 Lens 17-55mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor Shutter and f/stop 30 sec. @ f/16.0
