Sailboats on Lake HarrietJuly 14, 2000 | Minneapolis This was taken shortly after purchasing my first circular polarizer. I was walking around Lake Harriet in Minneapolis on a very sunny day. I had never really worked with polarizers before, but I knew they made cool effects with water and skies - especially with blue tones, so what's better than water? I saw the reflections in the water of the sailboat masts and thought this was perfect! I have my polarizer to give the water a reflective gleam and bring out the blues of the sky. I was pretty lucky, it turned out well, and the patterns of the masts are very strange. | | | | MetadataCamera Nikon N80 Lens 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5D AF Zoom-Nikkor Shutter and f/stop sec. @ f/
