Rose GardenSeptember 29, 2004 | Portland I took this shot at Portland's beautiful rose gardens. Dew had accumulated over night on basically all flowers and provided a wonderful photo opportunity. The rose gardens have been around since nearly the turn of the century. Mrs. Pittock (wife of the newspaper tycoon of Portland) is credited with starting the rose gardens. It's a must see on any visit. It's perched up on the side of a east facing hill which faces Mt. Hood on a clear day. Quite a sight. | | | | MetadataCamera Nikon D70 Lens 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5D AF Zoom-Nikkor Shutter and f/stop 1/60 sec. @ f/13.0
