Mount Rainier

We hiked the trail that leaves from Mowich Lake and takes you to Spray Park. Sprak Park is beautiful with it's light rolling hills. This picture was taken before we got to Spray Park at an outlook over a huge gorge leading up to the mountain. Mount Rainier is an active volcano in the Cascade Mountain Range. You may recall Mount St. Helens which is quite close and also in the same mountain range that blew in the early 1980's.
