Lake Ann

This shot was taken on my trip up to Lake Ann and Rainy Lake just outside of the North Cascades National Park. It was a beautiful hike with freshly fallen snow and high clouds. On the right-hand hillside you can see yellow/gold trees. Those are larch trees. They're pretty cool in that their needles are extremely soft and they change color in the fall and do fall off (I believe).
